Kona titanium Hei Hei

Incidentally when I had the frame I was contemplating getting it painted to - Like the custom Kona Hei Hei singlespeed below >>

When I spoke to Argos in Bristol about it they said that they would need to "etch" the std finish first for better paint adhesion. This would have meant a real possibility of never being able to recreate the original ti finish if tastes ever changed.

Strangely this didn't put me off.

Re Age ..... The Kona tech people told me it was a late 1997 frame as the frame number started with a B.

I like the frame, maybe you could paint it following the same colour scheme as the green one but in red, in order to take profit of the red bits you have.

I think you should leave it natural, but with matt titanium coloured decals.
