KONA STINKY FIVE FULL-SUS RARE IMMACULATE BEAUTY

Hi there I am selling a very rare (and in exceptionally good condition) example of the Kona Stinky. Mine is the Kona Stinky Five - I tried looking everywhere to find some information about this bike but it seemed so impossible I had to email Kona directly and this is what they said..."Hi, that is the 1998.5 Stinky, and it’s the very first one ever in the line. There are no pictures since it came in after the catalog was done and when the bikes arrived they all shipped out right away, we didn’t do a photo session with one. The stem, fork, frame, shock, seatpost, and headset look to be original. Brakes were Avid speed dial, cranks were Race Face, pedals were the Shimano DX ones". This is an excellent bike and would be fantastic even just for a collector - the one thing I'm not entirely sure about is the size, I've looked all over but cannot see any size stamps or decals, I'm 5'10" and if I'm honest it is a little squat of a riding position but it is a downhill but and by being small it really allows you to thrash it about. It has Bomber JT forks in full working order, 24-7 headset, Ritchey Vector saddle and Shimano XTR gears (27) and brakes all round. The frame and decals are in beautiful condition, no cracks, no dents - just a wonderful bike. Additionally it has Javva hubs which when it was in for a wheel truing a short while back, the guy in the shop said these were the smoothest hubs he's ever worked with. For a bike coming up to 14 years old and in this condition is rare and I'd like it to go to a good home. I have more pictures if you'd like to look further and I'm happy to answer any questions. The reason for sale is a change of focus, I'd like to do more road riding and my shed it only so big...nothing sinister. A great bike, a real bargain, get it whilst it's available!
