Kona Main

Does anyone know anything about the Kona Main BMX? Year? Rarity? I have one and can't find any info by surfing the worldwide information superhighway. Sorry - can't do photos as it's very much buried under lots of bikes. It's red and the decals look late '90s.

Thanks

I've not put this on the old school bmx forum as it's much more likely to be of interest here. Please don't move it.

2002 mate.

It sat in the hierarchy: (top) Blunt - Grab - Main - Snatch - Two Four (bottom)

No pics or other info I'm affraid.

Thanks guys. I did try google, but couldn't find anything in searches for 'kona main', 'kona bmx' or 'kona main bmx', so hopefully it wasn't too unreasonable to ask here.

I don't think your hierarchy is quite right there, adamgent. The catalogue in the last link DM posted shows that they're all different types of BMX (jump, park, race, 24" cruiser) and don't follow the order you've placed them in along price lines either. Thanks though.

Yeah, I think that's right - They were for different uses rather than strictly being top/bottom of the range.

A Kona 24 cruiser would be nice.
Shame they only dabbled in BMX for a couple of years and didn't decide to do it properly.

The current Kona range looks like loads of fugly big-travel DH bikes and about a dozen nearly-identical commuter bikes.
