One minor detail, he doesn't actually live in Cambridge anymore but says he still rides with some guys from Station Cycles?

yeah they all do 4 cross together now or sumthing, ive seen the bike, him and his mate bought it in to mikes a few weeks back.

It isn't 'as light as steel will ever likely get' either.

Nor does the fork have 'about 110mm of travel'.

Nor would it 'really suit the geometry' if it did.

Nor does it (the fork) 'weigh next to nothing'.

Mind you, I think that Rymer's just jealous because it has the correct decals.
