Echoing above I'd avoid trying the recreate the stars and bars, especially since you have a pretty unique schema already! Build it up and enjoy it. Very curious to know how these handle and ride compared to the other top of the range Kona's.

Where best to find out what colours I need to get to match so can touch up?

I use nail polish to touch paint up. I have to drag my girlfriend with me to avoid funny looks in superdrug though.
I'm not interested in a swap for mine, sorry. I may be interested in this if you decide to sell it in the future though ;)

I was joking more on the swap as know you wouldn't want to

Nail polish cool, will see if mrs got any in these colours first but doubt she has green or purple

If I find a Stars and Stripes, I will sell you these one

I remember seeing that on the forum before, i think if it were me i would have to get it repainted and the dents filled to be completely satisfied with it. Doesnt look to me like a fairly coplicated paint job to replicate. I think asthetics are everything on a frame like this :)

I am unsure repaint , found out this was ex team racers custom frame and forks.

So not sure if can bring myself to strip paint off.

If you're going down the repaint route I wouldn't go with the stars and bars. I think it would be a PITA to replicate accurately and would certainly be very expensive.

Did Kona actually call this paint scheme the "stars and bars?" I ask because the American flag is called the stars and stripes, stars and bars refers to the confederate flag from the U.S Civil War.
