Kona Hahanna 1997

Just picked up a bit of a delapidated Kona, after a bit of digging it looks like a 1997 Hahanna Race Light,
It looks like it has mostly original parts, but the Rear Mech is knackered, looks like the cage is bent, springs gone and jocky wheel missing...front mech seems fine...so the question unless I can find a Shimano AceraX, what rear mechs could I mount instead.....all that is assuming I can get the bottom bracket out...well and truely seized, and I have now cracked the non-drive side splined cup ;?

Thanks

spot on - didn't buy it given/saved from tip, and not in as good condition as yours, not looking to spend too much on it as it will just be a winter beater. Consequently original parts are not a necessity.

Assuming 7 speed, any rear mech. Upgrade and go LX from that era, should get a nice rear mech 5-10 quid

I have this on the road now.

Needed a major clean up ,
BB and seat post both initally seized, Headset sounded like it was crushing boulders - the rear mech was knackered - possible accident - rear mech hanger was bent - straightened that out and got the mech lined up
I have tried to true the rear wheel, and think I have done as good a job as I can!

Pretty sure mostly original down to the scratch and sniff tyres - with tread!, I'm no expert though!
I'll get some pics up at the weekend!!
