Kona Explosif warning!

Just a little warning that the below seller isn’t declaring that the seatpost is stuck solid. I luckily live in Eastbourne so it wasn’t an issue but he still couldn’t quite get that a stuck post is a major issue. He stated “it’s still a functioning bike”…a ridiculous statement. I don’t want anyone to travel and then find out, hence this warning.

He took an offer of £350 prior to me arriving for me then to find out the post was stuck. Then offered £250 and then wanted £300. Not a chance!!

I also think he has bent the seat post trying to free it!

Just a heads up!!

Dan

He wouldn't take £250?
Nope! I literally live 10 minutes away. Nice lad selling it (18-20yrs old) but obviously doesn’t realise the ramifications of a stuck post. The paints also ruff so I was a bit unsure with £350 before I knew about the post!!!

Looks like there can't be too much of that post left in the frame. £80 for unsticking the post professionally. £250 was the right price,

Yes you’re probably right, I do think the post is bent as well!

Is this one of those situations where the bike takes a 27mm post and someone has tried to put a 27.2mm in there?

looks like the original Kona seatpost so is unlikely…but I could be wrong!! The lad selling it was tall.

Back up again and still no mention of the stuck post. Very dishonest…hate it!
