Well I guess someone didn't want a wet bum, needed a big arse saddle and had a stiff back. Nothing that can't be stripped off and tidied up.
I do like the no back brake and gear selection in the pictures, all it needs is the oh so soft tyres and it would be like half the bikes I've had to overtake on the way into work for the last couple of weeks.

She is mine now. I believe it is a 1994. Last Friday, the owner re-listed the bike on craigslist. This time, he labelled it a "Kona Hybrid".

The only original parts left on the bike was the headset and front derailleur. Everything else was replaced with mid to lower level components. No matter - I just bought it for the frame, anyways.

There's a small ding on the top tube, but otherwise it's in decent shape.
