Hi all,
If the measurement from BB to top of seat tube is 20 inches, what frame size is this 18 or a 19. The frame is a 1990 model

I got caught out by this the other day.

If you are measuring 20" from the centre of the bb to the top of the seat tube then it is is a 19" frame.

They are actually sized from the top of the BB shell to the top of the seat tube - if you measure that it should be spot on 19".

Thanks for that. Thats a shame hoping to be 18inch, there is a nice one on fleabay.

Also be aware the top tube is shorter than the mid 90's models and the head tube is an inch longer. For me, it meant at 19" felt like a cramped 18"; not very pleasant to ride.
