Bit of an update. Spent an hour or so giving frame a gentle T-Cut, it's come up a bit whiter.

Never noticed on the EBay advert that he had cut off the rear brake guide so he could run Magura's :shock: ....

Frame is in decent nick for its age and I don't want to lose the originality of it. Well I think it's ok .....

I've been collecting parts since I got it and here's what I've got so far....

Nice Avocet saddle off here....

I should hopefully get this finished this weekend as long as I get my parcels off the Royal Mail

As you know i am a bit prone for " re-spraying" , but thats looks really lovely..nice one bud

Ernie - I normally go the powdercoat route myself, but can't bring myself to do it on this, it's my first Kona.
I can't wait to get this built up and see what it's like to ride. Already thinking of getting an Explosif next

Well it's all finished, had trouble with bb but got it sorted. The wife has tried it and likes it so I've an excuse to get myself another Kona so will be looking for an Explosif soon. Anyway stuck to XT mainly but did put some Suntour rear brakes on.

Put some Onza Aggro tyres on

Anyone know the screw size on the front mech where it closes at the bottom by the chain?
