Interested, does the seatpost move?

Just had a quick go, no. But will try properly tomorrow.

Good project and from experience it should come up well with a thorough clean up,the spokes look toast though.
Even though the seatpost isn't moving at least it's pretty much all the way up so not alot of post to free up and get out.
Check to see if the stem is stuck aswell.

Hi, I reckon I’m ready to move the bike on. Happy to take £50. The seat post does feel stiff but haven’t tried real brute force yet.

Now sold. I have it at home and as suspected the seatpost and stem are both stuck. The price obviously made it worth the gamble though and I will start a new thread tomorrow to update on my progress with this bike. Overall it is a very clean, honest one-owner bike with the splatter paint finish in very good order which was the main reason for my interest.

Hi, I bought this classic, first ever Project 2 forks, from new - 1988 I think. Took me ages at the time to save the money and have such a sentimental attachment I’ve never been able to part with it. It’s pretty much stock original and my partners finally convinced me to part ways with it. Collection from NE London or can discuss postage.
