That is a quite unique ride. You do not see them often, also not in Holland. It is a bit steeper and shorter than the 'regular' FullPro model. It is more aimed at short stage criteriums and time trail. New for the 1981 FPL was the strong focus on aerodynamics, for example with the flat blades fork with aero crown, the internal routing and hidden seatbolt in the stays. Groupset was full Dura Ace AX. Tubing used for the frame is Tange Champion #1.
I happen to own this 1981 FPL as well the 1980 FPL. My '81 needs to be refinished. A friend coincidently owns a '81 FPL too. He built a great fixie of it.
The FPL was replaced by FullPro A. Same strong focus on aerodynamiscs, but now taken a step further: Own drop shaped tubing and fillet brazed.
