Knackered old GT - Sold

Def not a Psyclone, wish it was then I would keep it and love it forever. No replaceable dropouts. Difficult to tell from the pics in the catalogues, might have to stay as a mystery frame!

Funny old game this, I would love to keep it and do it up just to see what it could be. Have no interest in it at all, but just know I don't want it to go in the skip!

Did the Tequesta have a Groovetube?
I had a purple/white marble paint job Tequesta, sold it ages ago and can't remember if it had the groove tube or not, sorry :  :Old age starting to fade my brain.

well - it seems to be mine now.

Watch this space...

no, THIS space, just here, behind the sofa, covered in lint.

Right - dinky little GT arrived today (many spanks to South Bound).

Good condition, nice short head tube.

Now, my plan is to build a GT Tachyon (but not 700D) - always liked drops on a MTB - it causes so many arguements.

The question is: Forks?

I have a set of threaded P2s

a set of GT forks that came with it

or - I have the GT Flipflop adjustable rake jobbies as found here:

Or - nuts to the project and just build a small steel GT to chuck about.

whaddya say?

Do it do it!

I've been thinking of doing similar with my Karakoram K2......if you try it first and it looks pants I'll have saved loads of time and money! :D :D

Seriously though, go for it.......I reckon it'll be cool.

Oh, and GT forks.
