The Grey frame with the Red Magura's looks absolutely gorgeous.

Jerkys right though, its a shame the magura cable cant be threaded through the frame. Maybe if this is not possible run the cable along the bottom of the top tube, rather than at the side?.

I to have Ritchey bars and stem on mine, but these are more retro affairs.

:D

Jeff - I'm sorry I never got to thank you for your help on trying to identify the frame  Could very well be a Fervor by the looks of it though! Does the Fervor have a 1" head tube?

Jerky and Passiflora - you are absolutely right, it is a shame the hose doesn't run through the frame.. The exit hole where the cable should run through is tiny though, a hydraulic hose would never fit through. I think the zip tie clamps are ugly too so I ordered a set of these things, I'll make sure to try running the hose under the top tube to see if it looks better!

Well I still don't have the hose guides, went to the lbs the sunday before last, placed the order and they would have them tuesday. Would give me a call.
Tuesday: no call.
Wednesday I decided to drop by, lbs ensured me they would have them friday.
Friday: no call.
Dropped by again last sunday, the lbs guy told me he was personally going to get the clamps from the distributer or something, so he would have them tuesday (tomorrow). I hope it's true this time.

In the meantime I've done a little photoshoot, unfortunately weather conditions rendered the purple ano parts are neigh on invisible in the pictures :( Purple parts include: wheels QR, seatpost QR, bottle cage, stem cap, handlebar and chainring bolts. Also visible in the pictures is a set of OnZa barends in silver, much better than the black Pro's imho.

I've also bought a set of tan Panaracer Magics, they arrived a bit dirty and tired but they cleaned up pretty good and the thread is almost new.
Pics as soon as they're installed!

Well I finally got the hose clamps two weeks later than the bloke from the LBS promised me he'd have em. stuck them on the bike and routed the hose underneath the top tube, looks heaps better!

I also mounted the cream Panaracer tyres. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but every time after about 1 or 2 km the tube bursts. It's happened three times already and I don't know what to do. Every time I put a new inner tube on, go for a ride and the same thing happens. It looks like the valve hole in the rim cuts through the tube, creating a half moon cut right around the valve, rendering it impossible to patch up. Anyone got any idea what's up with that??

Strange, because I never had any problems with my old Magics :?

What tubes are you using? I was running Halfords own brand slime tubes, quite heavy but a lot of my routes at the time were by hedgerows during cutting season! Never punctured once.

Worth checking your rim tape sits in place, and try putting some electrical insulation tape over the valve hole, and slit i just enough to poke the valve through. This way there will be a buffer between the tube and rim.

After I had it happen twice I decided to file down the edges of the valve hole to round them off, it's not sharp at all. The first time I used the tube that was in there when the racing ralphs were still on there (never had a puncture then, while the tube & rim were the same), 2nd time a generic tube had laying around and the third time a Vredestein. Getting a bit desperate here!
