There's a real mystique to Klein's. I remember seeing a photo of one back in the day in a metallic British racing green. It just looked the mutts nuts

Yes, exactly that! Just look at it! 1998 and it looks like it has just come off the drawing board as the next iteration of cycling. Marvellous!

When I did early morning road rides in a fit of ignoring the terrible driving and the very real risks of the narrow but horribly fast roads around eastern England I rode this:



It is NOT of the same pedigree as the bikes above, since it's a post-takeover frame and carbon-metal mix. But it rides beautifully.

I loved being on a MTB-linked bike in a group of roadies with Italian bikes. 'Klein'????? and being ridiculed, until the next hill...whoosh.
