Masciaghi built Fausto Coppi Lugano 53’.
Size 56x56 C-C. Giovanni Pelizzoli of Ciocc design. Professional level frame set from 94/95 used by Team Polti & MG GB. Fillet brazed Columbus Genius with dropped seat stays and pearlescent white paint. Light, supple, stiff when putting out some power but also a beautiful spring when standing and kicking up hills. Approx. 9.9kgs
Full rebuild on June 30th with NOS Dura Ace bottom bracket, Dura Ace Titanium seat post, Stronglight chain rings, BBB ceramic jockey wheels, Stronglight headset, new Shimano cables and new Fizik microtex bar tape.
Ex pro team Dura Ace 7410 groupset. The original Sti group. Works like clockwork and has a much more satisfying actuation than modern Shimano. Stronglight 50/38 chainrings. HG-50 11-28 cassette. 172.5mm cranks.
Gipiemme Techno 416 vintage 40mm Aero wheels. Veloflex Corsa Evo 25mm tyres. Pirelli SmarTube TPU inner tubes. Bought NOS in 2021 and very little use, brake tracks not yet fully worn in.
Selle San Marco titanium saddle. Very light 220g.
Dura Ace Easton Titanium seat post 190g.

Bad points - frame had a very small dent on the down tube and paint work is original so there are a few paint chips I have covered. Ideally needs a respray if you’re not a fan of original patina. Hoods have some marks. Wheel hubs would benefit from a re-grease.
Pedals not included.
This is the best riding bike I own, I’m only selling as I found my childhood dream bike in my size and can’t justify yet another bike.
Can box up and ship U.K. or worldwide at buyers expense.
