We simply do not want dickless pricks like you here steering hate and sadly putting wrong impressions off a painter due to your opinion.

Again whilst you say no attacks Kase you then go onto make one..might be worth taking your own advice? If you do not do so then you have firmly placed yourself in the category you have accused others of being in.

Just because another member has had bad work from a painter you clearly have a love in with, it does not mean they are not allowed to have an opinion on work they perceive as bad and have paid for without you being plain right down and personal nasty

That said... there are plenty of other threads on particular painting companies work so back to the thread

I do agree this thread was more about Martins excellent work and certainly seeing how it goes from a dog to a garage queen

Given Martins walk through process's, videos of explanation of work and the results I feel Martins high quality work is a good showcase for the expectation most Klein owners seeking a fresh lease of life on their beloved Klein

Martin..pardon my ignorance..that downtube dent...how did you bring it from horrible back to workable was it ali filling, bending, shaping?

The MC1 needed also some love before getting new colour. Someone clamped the barends a bit to hard and the result are 2 dents in the MC1.

To reshape the MC1 I used a soft wood stick. It`s better than using a steel bar or something else because if the stick is to hard you can easy ruin the MC1. I hammered it a bit in and so the dents came out a bit.

Now the MC1 is not new but in way better condition than before.

You can shape out the dent a bit. The rest is a kind of liquid aluminum to fill the rest. It`s better not trying to get an even tube without filling because it will lose its stiffness if you reshape it to much. Or if you try to weld it it can brake between the welded areas in later use.

Thanks Martin.

Kleins are generally accepted as being a higher cost repair/paint bike so thank you for showing some of the problems/solutions with I'm looking forward to seeing the process if that's what's coming next and how a paint evolves..cool

Stylus I'm not interested in what you have to say. My argument is with the plank whom won't let it die. Even on someone's else's thread

You have a personal greavience against Jon and this was always going to drag you back in, you couldnt resist. I'd already anticipated you would come bumbling along.

Ill defend anyone who is decent at what they do and get hammered buy idiots, my argument is even thou this thread has nothing to do with Jon this guy still has to drag it back up and for me enough is enough.

Then may I suggest you take it elsewhere rather than doing the same as those you are accusing others of doing so we don't have two planks and you can plank it out together??

Not quite, John does some good work, my only issue with jons work is that he himself has admitted sometimes they are not always his best work and he misses things and my bug bear if you wish... is the way a company/any company who profits from rb members by providing a service should not be exempt from providing an excellent after service when those events happen.

on this one thing alone i have strong issues with no matter whom it maybe, rb members should stick together and praise were it is due and complaints when it is not.

i have agreed with you that this thread should be about martins excellent work and have tried a number of times to bring it back onto thread however that fact you cannot see that you are as bad as the person you have the hump with is a testament to your own attacks on other members and i have to say Kaise, what it looks like too many is that you are trying to ruin jons competitors positive thread which does not reflect well on you

SO..can we please please all bring it back on track and that being the excellent work, video's and talk throughs in regards to Klein repairs, tricks and hints with information to those who are Klein inclined...Thank you :D :D :D

Martin...what other projects have you on the go at the momment also?
