Klein Attitude 1991 Backfire

My old trusty which I've had since '93.

It's been getting a fair bit of use these last couple of months and is well overdue a service so here's a few pics before the overhaul. I might change a few parts too and give it a slightly different look, see how it goes.

Yes some black parts wil be working their way into the mix for sure.

Well it's all stripped down, mud removed and BB replaced so far with some NTN orange seal bearings and a Titanium axle. Next step is to refurb the paint with hours of cleaning, clay bar and polishing. It's very faded especially from the top and rear, if I had just bought it like this I would consider a re-paint but as it's all part of my history with it and I can remember how and when some of the scratches and marks occurred I don't want to wipe that away, sentimental fool some might say!

Nice! Good idea to clean it and build it up again, instead of a repaint. The real fun of these bikes is riding them.
