mish mash of bits hanging off it. I can see a curious setup of XT thumbie and LX STI, but I can also see an XT U Brake, what look like Ritchey bars and a nice chainset... XT?

Frame needs some attention to finish though...

With a bit of work, and paint resto, that could turn into something very nice indeed.

Were these fabricated by Gary Klein himself?

Not sure

Dunno to be honest but the frame has a cool style to it

Wish I had £250 kicking around spare!

That looks like a great buy - really looking forward to seeing what you do with it :)

Cheers! I splatted into a post on here 'cos I thought wow that's a good deal, even a moderate start on appropriate components...

Someone should snap that up pronto!

The more I looked at it the more I thought hmmm I'm right you know, that's helluva deal

A quick bit of online banking and Peter is well and truly robbed but Paul has been able to pay for the Klein!

Now I gotta work out what to do about the paint damage... Oh and finish that Look!

No.

Cool frame though, shame about the paint loss, its from after mid 86 but before 89 btw.

Yeah, It would be a total dream deal if the paint were OK!

Not surprised there re: Fabbed by the master, looks like Klein had become pretty successful pretty fast - This model actually gets plenty of mentions in MOMBAT which is nice kudos, once it gets here I should be able to date it easily enough, plenty of Klein fan sites out there...

I'm pretty excited but I should think it'll be a while coming together

Blimey I nearly did the same thing with that Cinelli I posted on here last night.

After convincing myself it was too big, I outed it on here, then spent a while with the ebay page still open umming and ahhing over whether to buy it anyway.

Luckily it was Gravy Monster to the rescue with the BIN. :D

Edit: Sorry I mean the night before last, time flies when you're off work...
