I cant wait to see your restoration thread probably a tricky frame to paint with those i beam sections maybe powdercoat it ? might strengthen it up a bit lol
But on a more serious not have you got some retro gear to ride it yet ?
I am thinking a teal and pink shellsuit ? might be a good look :)
Still a current fashion over in eastern Euorope I think
good luck with the build and if you are re-stickering it as original you will probably need to trace the originals make a note of the colours and get Gil_m on here to make up some replacements if he hasnt got them already

An unwarranted rand OTT rant by captaincosmic

This rant by captaincosmic has effectively killed the sale of my Kirk Revolution and any more of the same.
Let me just say that I totally disagree with his remarks. Ive had mine a long time and never had any problems with it. It has been, and still is, a good bike, if a bit dated (but then, arent most oif the bikes on this site ?).
So, thanks for that captain cosmic! I hope I get the chance to reciprocate sometime. Jackass.

Not so much a rant as an educated comment PAL just joined so you can sell a bike Huh?
Try sticking around you might learn some manners

You dug up a topic that's been dead for more than 2 months just because you failed to sell your bike? Really?

Normally the seller is the one that arranges the courier, as he's the one that's supposed to pack the bike and therefore knows the size and weight of the box.

Also, the sales pic shows that the tyre pressure is low. That indicates that the bike hasn't been used in a while or that you simply don't maintain it properly. The red bits of tape are suspicious as well because they look new. Any potential buyer will suspect that they were applied shortly before the pic was taken, probably to cover something you don't want people to see before they paid you.

Those are the reasons your bike probably didn't sell.

I also second captaincosmic. You have 4 posts, 3 of which are related to your sale and one in here. That doesn't exactly give you any credibility.

Wow, was it way back in 2011 that I was looking for a Kirk?
I did find one. I built one up from just a frame and had it for several years. it was a heavy lump but with great character and I did love it for a while - I was just about the only one who could ride though, the frame flex at the steering head being so great (strange feeling)
It suffered with the BB shell coming unbonded too.
Solved it all in the end by buying a Pace RC200 instead for my retro kicks
