They flexed, suffered from corrosion around inserts, and all of mine had structural issues...hence multiple warranty swaps.
Other than that, they were fun to ride and always drew a crowd.

Whaaaaat! Pedalling forces permanently distort steel frames! Phooey, there are century old steel frames about that are as true as the day they were made. He says the magnesium frame weighs 6lb too, that's about 2lb heavier than a top end steel frame. :shock:
 
Well, I caved and grabbed it, for much cheapness. Mostly original - 400LX group set, but XT m092 shifters for some reason. The frame flex is hysterical - probably just end up stripping it down and using the frame as a wall ornament...
