Aah, I’m going to have to check now.. Sure I read somewhere that they weren’t 1 1/4” til later on.. Will let you know.
Love your build btw, wicked choice on the forks, completely left field choice..

maybe they’re just old headset cups,check before installing the headset
later Killers have p bones and they are 1 1/8
95' catalog and looking at that stem ( horror when you need it like a headset 1 1/4) and it is in that transition 95-96 to have a Pepperoni fork 1 1/8


And it is also possible that your frame is like that
95' with pepperoni 1 1/8 because my friend recently got a green Killer V 2000 from 94' who had a pepperoni fork and 1 1/8 stem not catalog stem
so we did a little research

I'm pretty sure I had a 1 1/8 fork on that frame. I don't think have any 1.25 forks.

Deffo 1 1/8”.
Has these ‘shims’ in the headtube. But surely they’re factory? Doesn’t look to be enough material on the headtube without the ‘shims’ to mount a headset into - aluminium would be too thin I would say.

This is really interesting, I wonder why they fitted inserts, maybe it was just a transition over to 1 1/8. My 94 KV is pure 1 1/4, as was the one I owned back in 94.
