I am not setting myself up as guarantor of any of these traders; if they are on the forum let them pipe up if they feel maligned.

It is always a case of caveat emptor when dealing with Ebay or anywhere else.

In this instance I happened to be interested in that item so I had a look, no disrespect meant to anyone here at all and I hope no offence taken.

We can't examine every single deal out there we are not involved in, so instinct comes into it. I agree in principal that there is a prime facie fishiness when items are sold and resold quickly. On another day I might write off the frame as lost to me rather than bidding again.

I have taken advantage of this part of the forum a few times and I was just wanting to be helpful, in case anyone was still thinking about buying it.

His comms were crap, I had to keep prompting him for an explanation, then a refund etc, shame as he has some half decent stuff quite often, and my trust has gone!

On the plus side I bought two frames off him and collected in person and everything was good.

Nice buy dude, I was caught up or I would have tried to snag it.

I have dealt with 12-28 in the past and happy at the end, this other guy seems pretty sound so give him a chance people.
