Klein Rascal Year?

Anyone have an idea what year this Klein Rascal is from? I'm guessing late 80's? Horizontal drop outs, 1" head tube diameter.

I think the purple/pink is almost exclusively 1992, the 1989/1990 rascals were mostly the linear fade. Im not 100% sure what paint options were available when but almost every 1992 rascal is the purple to pink fade.

I have the '91 in the same colours, but reversed and different decals.

The horizontal dropouts prompted the single speed when I first came upon this bike 20+ years ago. The bars were an addition last summer and got me riding it again. It was so hunched over I couldn't hardly ride it anymore. Mostly a town cruiser but I have taken it on some smoother trails in the last few years.
