Hello All, I picked this up on Friday for £104. 4hr round trip but good audiobook on. Jeffrey Maffahey Atomic Accidents if anyone is interested.
Turns out it is all original, bar the saddle which i have found an older bontrager which is damn close to the original. The stem cap isn't an angled one but I think I have found one.
Just ordered new panaracer Dart and Smoke. I am stripping the whole bike and rebuilding, servicing and touching up the paint over the next few weeks.
I bought this model for my 13th birthday back in 1993. Took me ages to find a small frame. I have added the Onza bar ends as that is what I fitted back I the day.
So far I have serviced and cleaned the front wheel and hub, add a new back brake cable and cleaned all the frame where people has stuck tape to it.
Will add some pictures when I have got to as near new as possible without a full frame respray.

Really sweet! True temper all the way. I find the stem a bit too steep but if it works for you…let us know if ride impressions!

Cassette cleaned, freewheel next to zero play, rear hub stripped and serviced, rear mech stripped, cleaned and lubricated including jockey wheels, rear QR cleaned, new chain, new gear cables and back wheel cleaned and trued.
