The Karma bit
I have a "Probike" kids 20" 6 speed bike that I passed on to a friend when my lad grew out of it and it has now come back to me. It's nothing special, but it works well enough and would do someone a turn.

The Twist
I'm doing a charity bike Ride in June, in aid of Donna's Dream House which provides holidays for terminally ill kids and their families, and if you want the bike you have to make a donation to the fund... just giving page here http://bit.ly/wUL9Oa

Collection only, although I'm sure something could be arranged if you're not close.

I'm not sure whether to do a numbers type of arrangement, or maybe an auction... (Biggest donation gets it sort of thing) so I'll leave that to a consensus of you guys. I haven't managed to get any pics yet, but I'll bung some up soon.

Excellent for doing this.

My view is that the size of the donation shouldnt matter, charity is charity (and may break the rules auction style/ some cant afford to give as big donations as others).

Just prove that you have donated a fair amount (whatever you deem fair) and you gets a number.

Thanks for your input... that was kind of my gut feeling anyway, so here's the rules.

Anyone who wants a number can have one, and I'll draw a winner in about a week or so. If you win, you make a donation. There's no need to donate if you don't win, but I'm not going to stop you ;)

I would check out the legal side of this if I were you. Used to have a lawyer on a forum I mod on who age us chapter and verse on why these things are difficult in law. I will have a root round for his post on it.
