Dirt Disciple
If anyone would like to collect it, I have a small Peugeot Audax frame to give away. Its a small frame with the following features;
53cm cc top tube
50cm cc seat tube
52.5cm ct seat tube
Double butted Cro-Mo frame and fork with cantilever bosses and headset with canti cable hanger. It has a gunmetal coloured quill stem and seat post (missing clamp) stuck in it and a Stronglight triple chainset with pedals (also slightly stuck). The pedals have a excessive play but can probably be adjusted.
Im fairly certain that with a generous helping of elbow grease, plus-gas and a bench vice the frame could be completely stripped and the bits salvaged for a refurb (the frame could benefit from a respray) - none of which I have the time or facilities to do at the moment. Also its far too small for but was a nice gesture on the part of the person who gave it to me.
Can be collected / dropped off in the following areas;
Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Hertford, Ware, Sawbridgeworth, Epping etc etc - basically any near the Herts / Essex boarders (possiblity of North Norfolk too on occasion)
If no interest then I will give it to the Wombles at the tip.
