that would be fun, i'll have too get something GT shaped built properly, and we shall test your theory 
1. you are riding on the road so there's a much increased risk of a car hitting you
2. you are riding on the road so there's a much increased risk that you'll bump into a cretin/chav/pikey
3. you are riding on the road so there's a much increased risk that you'll be seen out on your bike when you should be ill in bed having thrown a sicky
4. you are riding on the road so there's a much increased risk that you'll be seen pushing uphill when the going gets tough.
5. you have to shave your legs and walk like a duck!

My roadbike happens to be made of steel. And I dont shave my legs. And I say hello to any cyclist. And I ride mountain bikes too. And I like to coordinate but so what!!!!
