Karma bike with pics...gone

As i said, time to wrap this up. I have offered it to someone, jimo, as i really liked his post. He seemed to pick up on most of the clues. However, i will see if he wants it, and offer it again if he doesn't.

I promised some pics, so here they are...

This is a 1975 (by the serial number) Raleigh made Triumph Ladies roadster. I didn't know that bikes with rod brakes were made this late. The Sturmy Archer three speed dyno hub is date stamped 75.

All the bearings need attention, but show signs of being well oiled in the past.

It is i believe all original, probably the tyres as well, though they are shot.

It is not a racing thoroughbred, but i have a thing for rod brakes, and would keep it if it were a gents.

This timeless design would be good if you wanted to join the "tweed" set on their dressed up ride out days

Hi again,

Jimo has declined, and i have offered it to jonny69. He named the bike, and was closest to describing it in my eyes. Should he decline, it is up for grabs.....

Thanks all for taking part.

heh. not quite :D

Just wanted to say, lovely ladies bike! Too bad I came in so late. I just noticed this thread
It's really very pretty. I love the handlebars, the frame looks nice and the saddle is pretty cool, as well.
Congrats to Johnny 69; this is one fine bike.

I just wish I had the time to give the bike the makeover it deserves, I've never worked on rod actuated brakes before so that would have been a first.
I'm sure Johnny69 will have many hours of enjoyment bringing this bike back to it's former glory :)
