so whats actually the difference between these old schwinns and athe Yetis from the same period?

where they not out the same factory? did schwinn not own yeti etc?

I'd say go for it, as long as if you ever sell it then you let the buyer know it's history.

I know the guy you got that off and it's a good bike (that you got for a good price )
