Just bought one of these....

Are your files .MOV? If so, what are you using to convert them to AVI?
I've downloaded some freeware and it's converting a load of my vids now

Wierd the way the chain vibration carries through the mount and gets picked up by the microphone - it sounded like your bike was being sawn up!

Nice quality, and sorry about the camera-induced crash.

Yeah, the noise was a bit intrusive huh
Think its the chain through the chainguide, its nowhwere near that loud!!

Was up some downhill trails for the first time today for a nosey around, dont think its as loud in this one? :?

Just up from the scout grounds,

100 yds up from the gate, take a left off the main path

Then follow the trail up about 4-500 yds along the fence

Eventually you find a big flat area , paths going up all over the place

Pick one, and come bombing back down it 8) 8)

Too many bits to explore in the hour I had available, need a wee group sess up there one day

just a thought, could you use the seatpost clamp to mount the camera to the top section of one of the fork stantions?

the mount is nice & sturdy judging by the first video but you lose 66% of the picture with your legs. fork mount should in theory be less likely to get hit in the event of a crash (unless you go head on into something) & give a pretty central view without being on the bars & potentially in the way.

I was toying with the idea of getting a mount for my phone that allowed it to sit vertically & then run a time lapse program on the camera to take a pic every 5 seconds... a poor mans trail-cam if ever there was one but it might be interesting to watch it back & see how it looks.

Cool, we definitely should organise something, looks like plenty of fun even if you're not rocking a burly rig? Doesn't look too muddy either?
