Morning everyone got some bad news looks like I'm looking for a new job after having some problems at work since the beginning of Jan with my days being cut down to 2 a week from 5/6. Last Saturday I had a email from the boss telling me I had to have a load of work done and dusted even if I had to go in in my own time, So monday and tuesday I went all out and worked late to get it done but alas there was far far to much to get done in 2 days and so it wasn't finished and then yesterday I had an email ordering me to go in in my own time unpaid to finish it or my services where no longer required. So looks like I don't take bullying from the boss as I haven't gone in and now I need a new JOB asap. :cry: :cry:

I think you need to go and have a chat with someone about unfair dismissal first pal.

Make sure that you document all communications, print out all emails and log all calls in a bound diary. Also ensure that you have a copy of your contract. Legally they have to provide you with one.
You are then prepared for an unfair dismissal case. While you may not want to work there any more, it should allow you a settlement.

+1 to this and the similar follow ups - sounds like dirty tricks from the OP's (ex) management.

CK - are you in a union? Could help but I believe you have to have a minimum length of membership (13 weeks??) for them to be able to help out in industrial tribunals etc.
