Lovely Satin Black Orange Clockwork frame in 17. Superb condition, complete with 27.2 Orange Shim, 29.6 post bottle cage bolts and very rare all black with Gold trimmings and Titanium fittings LX mech. Totally gorgeous just too big really. £140 posted and can add a set of Pace 36 2's for £140 extra and a nice Middleburn rs7's Crankset for another £70

what is the clockwork made from (steel, I know, but what type?)
how does it compare with a P7?

Frame

Tange 7.5 individually butted tubes, which is effectively Tange infinity. In comparison to a P7, they are totally different. The older P7 was rated as a Trekking frame, much stronger and stiffer and heavier for carrying big loads and not that good a ride, the modern versions, which I've had a few of are a pound and a half heavier and designed as a hardnut all mountain or jump rig!
The Clockworks were much lighter, springier and designed as an all day trail/race/sport mtb.

Great stuff. I thought I wanted a P7, but actually what I need is a Clockwork, preferable with disc mounts. (only 'cos I have a spare set of disc wheels and disc brakes :roll: )
