I expect Dave may well be right. I bought a Z2 once that had an XTR V-brake attached and that was fine, it just needed new pads. He also sent it with its headset, which was visible but not mentioned in the listing. It did need a new bearing which cost £14, but with that done it is now a perfect RaceFace Thermo SP, which is the most expensive headset I've ever owned and with its classy silver-grey colour it looks just fine on the Kilauea.
