oy ! Jez - you promised to give me first refusal if you ever sold it again ! and my hasn't the price shot up ! - you told me the whole bike was only worth £500 when i sold it to you and you're now asking £700 for frame , stem , bars and seatclamp ?? i suspect i was ripped-off dear boy ....

Hey, not ripped off at all: I remember you asking what it what it was worth and I suggested a price back when I wasnt even interested in buying it.

Fact: I bought it from you as you were desperate to sell as you were moving abroad.

Fact: I didnt use any jedi mind tricks or anything to get it as a cheaper price.

Fact: Price reflects what I'm willing to let it go as...if it doesnt sell it wont be sold.

There will be no reductions. It's simply worth more to me than letting it go for less.

ok - fair enough .... i trusted you and i got it wrong - although i wasn't desperate to sell ..... I also thought that the object of the site was to charge fair and reasonable prices for stuff to fellow enthusiasts not make extortionate profits ...... but hey - whatever ......

What condition is this wheel in? and hub its running on.

Will it come with the pump adaptor and spoke key?

Any flexibility on the price.

I have to back up Jez on this topic, if you look at the prices people are getting on ebay then the prices that Jez is asking for are pretty accurate. The prices may very well be more than what he paid but they aren't unfair.

I know this isn't my battle, but I think its a fair and reasonable price. Maybe it wouldn't fetch that much on ebay, but I bet someone here is willing to pay that. Doesn't that make it fair and reasonable?

Ive purchased a great heap of stuff over the years and most of it has been sold to fund an outside interest. My loss maybe? Who knows.

The kit is going up in value as we have encountered over the years so grab it while you can I guess.

And hell, Ive paid through the nose for stuff before anyway.
