The wife got me a copy of this last year and I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, must get around to it sometime.
got the original version on CD too and had the PC game which was quite cool.

For some reason, WotW sounds 'better' on 35 year old vinyl than the CD version. I havent tried any of the new versions though.

For a project at university I walked the route that the journalist takes from Maybury Hill in Woking to Primrose Hill in London, documented it with photos and then had to make it into a book. Took 3 or 4 days of walking with the odd train ride as well. Still got the book somewhere. My all time favourite novel and certainly one of my favourite albums.
