Just lazed around on the beach today....jeez it was hot...walking over the sand barefoot hurt.

Nope. . but I don't go anywhere near the beach (3/4 mile down the road) at weekends during Summer or during school holidays.. or into town.. or over the local parks.

Much nicer without the risk of holidaymakers and kids

Took a day off to spend with the wife before she sprogs, it'll be the last time there will be just the two of us for a fair while!

We ambled next to the Thames for a bit and then stopped in a pub for a pint (for me). It was nicely hot

Wandered up to the LWS today and had a wheel redished ,it was lovely to spend 3 hours sitting outside the shop waiting

Living in Exmouth means even being cooped up in the office is not bad. Cycled home from work down the seafront and this evening spent a couple of hours spinning on a local beach and got a couple of mackerel for breakfast tomorrow!

Life's not bad.

spent 3 hours on caister pitch and putt seeing how far i could drive hehehe......did a beauty on hole 8 with a 5 iron ...right down the middle and bounced onto the green ...then went home and had a bar b q in the garden plus a can of nice cold beer......watching the sprogs hack away at a ball was great fun..its sunny and hot again today so i may have a ride down the seafront for a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich..i get the same holidays as schoolkids so ive had all week off...summers coming too ....six weeks of beach and surf and having fun..
