JE James Cycles are..

Had a good experience with a lbs last week, Spokes in Epping.
A family owned business from what i gather. Jason's the main guy and a real nice fella!
Had them fit a Hope headset, torque up the bb, with everything nicely greased and aligned as asked. Really pleasant people to deal with. Even held the door open for me on my way out :) Just the kind of people I can trust.

Will be using Online bikes soon too to measure and possibly build my wheels. They gave good genuine unbiased advice plus came highly recommended.

Have used CRC a fair bit in the past and will use them more now after seeing their history credentials in their site. They've certainly given a faultless service thus far and one to have trust in. You can't beat them for deals. Online bikes even used them as a basis for pricing saying they'll match them.
CRC seems to to be the ones to watch.

Also had a good experiance at my LBS recently (The Bike Shop, Skipton). Called in as I was passing and ended up chatting to the chap in there about saddles. I told him I was thinking of getting one with a cut out as my gobi makes my man toys go numb :oops: . He then produced said cut out saddle that was one of his own and told me to take it away and try it. Chap didn't know me from Adam and was not even bothered about me leaving a name and number. Guess you don't get that online.

BTW, he loves the original Flite but has worn his out so I directed him here. :wink:

Haven't looked lately but I never used to order stuff from J E James as most of their prices were the RRP or hardly discounted at all :roll:

What was the part :?: perhaps someone on here can help you out :wink:

Was that Ferguson's doon from the chip shop?

No, it was The Bike Shop, round the corner from Stanforths pie shop and the place where I got my 1989 Tufftrax BITD. :wink:

Used to go to Dave Fergusons when he was in the little shop up by the Grammar School as he had some decent gear but his new shop looks to be full of BSO's and the last time I went in he seemed to have lost his sense of humour so have not been back. :roll:

@Aeronaut,

I'm sorry to hear about this experience you have had when shopping with us.

Is the issue sorted now?

If it isn't, email me at forums@jejamescycles[dot]com with your account information, (Name & postcode) and i can get this wrapped up for you.

Thanks

JEJ
