I was in the area today and decided to stop.
It was really nice to see that it being looked after, I imagine.
I think I was expecting to be upset that it was abandoned, but I had a tear in my eye thinking about him instead.
I still wonder what he might have achieved in the sport had things been different.

I’ve been past it so many times but never actually stopped.
