Jamis, bit of a mystery brand?

The rear canti brake pivot rocker thingy, been after one for absolutely ages, and missed one being given for karma on here a little while ago too.

I'm really pleased because although the guy that answered my email from the shop can't find any old brochures he did send me a blurry race photo from back in the day, and when I told him about the bike I have been restoring and the challenges I had encountered along the way, he told me that he had the one part that had eluded me throughout the build in his hand and that I could have it for the price of postage!!

Now that is a result!

Brilliant! They're a really nice bunch there and have always been helpful when I've been in with Jamis related stuff

Yeah they seemed nice, the photo he sent me also confirmed that the Jamis jersey I had just won on ebay (arrived this morning) is from the same era. I bid on it without having the faintest idea if it was around the mid 90's or not, so super pleased with that too.

He he, tell you what, if I ever do move on from the Jamis, or the jersey doesn't fit I will keep you in mind. I have seen others go but never had the balls to bid without knowing if it was the right era before, sorry
