Anodising!

I'm after anodising my Syncros stem black...?
I was going to do it myself, but the procedures involved do not float my boat.

Wow smart, think you could do well via retrobike members if you do good deals for us on here

hiya depends on the final colour mine was a 4 stage colour so costs more than usual to strip to bare metal etch prime, epoxy prime apply an orange groundcoat spray the main clolour then a gold pearl and 3 coats of lacquer (with a plasticiser) would be £160 if it was a single stage colour it would start at £90 and a 3 stage colour would start at £110 all plus the courier cost's forks if they are stripped by you start at £35 to £70 for a 4 stage colour.

cheers mike.

How much would you charge to get a bike frame looking that good?

Exactly what I was thinking.

Can you do the flame job on a frame?

cant see why not they would be thin and skinny may be better off with ghost flames 8) i'll post some pics up ltr

deals can be done if 2 or more people are having frames done the same colour because of the law most places will only supply waterbased paints
which are not that cheap at around £40 for 1/2 a ltr
