I've got two pairs of 5-10 shoes which have started to peel at the toe. Has anyone a recommendation for glue to get them back together? I have tried Evostick in the past but it lets go again when it gets really wet.....

All help welcome.

Are they rigid? If so gorilla glue. Cures with water. Very good.

Re:

Flatties I am afraid - but that's a good recommendation since the bit that has come unstuck is right at the toe, which doesn't felt much. Many thanks.

We used to resole five ten climbing shoes many years ago, and resole other shoes with five ten rubber. They used to sell the glue/cement with the rubber.

Or just pop into a cobblers and ask for some of his cement, you only need a bit and they usually will just give you some free. Make sure you take a little jar/tub in. Works the best.

Boyes. Everything you never knew you needed. Went in for paint and came out with a fishing rod.
