The most succesfull player of his generation and still one of the best players in the premiership today.

Totally deserved in my opinion. Button won the title because his car was better at the start of the season. When the playing field was level he was back to mediocre.

Given the general loathing from a lot of football 'apes' ( :roll: ) towards anything Manchester United, I'd say that makes his win all the more special.

Also Mr Button had a team mate in the same spec car who couldn't beat him. So Button is the best driver (much as i hate to say)

He retired from international football two years ago. Plus Wales would need at least another four players of his standard to be competitive in the European World Cup qualification pool.
