It's happened again...

That's it for me and titanium frames. As some of you know I've been off the bike for a few months and I went back to the Vit for my first ride after all that's happened. Looking it over I spotted some 'rust' on the bottom bracket area. Well knowing that titanium doesn't rust, I looked closer and found a crack in the area. What had happened was where I've got a USE seatpost in the frame some water has got in and then rusted the bottom bracket and it has slowly drained out of the crack.

I'm 85kg and so would not consider myself a lightweight by any circumstances, I'm sure that must be a factor so I'm giving up Ti for good I'm afraid.

It already was so I'm not going to attempt again. I might put it on the 'For Sale' forum and try my luck there. Someone there might try the fix.
