It's arrived! At last...I have a Dekerf (frame)

I'm such a jammy get....I'm surprised this didn't sell on Ebay last week. Anyway. offered the seller my maximum bid after Ebay and the rest as they say is history. Paid handsomely for it, but I don't care.

Frame number DEK350

Condition is fantastic. Some minor cable rub, minor decal damage and some minor chain slap 'pitting to the chain-stay (but it doesn't amount to much) but overall the paint is still deep and glossy.
Not sure of the build yet :?

Yes yes...and I know the amount of times I change bikes has ceased being funny...and I'll never say never anymore, but it's hanging around for a while, that's for sure.

Mmmm...only got as far as gold headset

But the big thing is 24 speed, 1x8 or singlespeed

Mmmm...already have a 1x9er in the shape of my M2. Also have an M4 Stumpjumper frame, so I might build that up all modern like...disc and forks etc, and have the Dekerf with slightly different gearing. Must admit I'm finding 1x9 just about perfect...apart from the big ring blasts.

I'm partial to Canadian builds on Dekerfs: geared, with proper butch forks and a sprinkling of parts by Syncros, Brodie, Race Face, BlackSpire etc.

Having seen your other builds that would be a 1 x 8or9 then.
