What do people think about red chainrings? Found them in a drawer and they could solve a issue for me if they work on this

Look good. I tried a set on my lightning but on the red crank arms it was too much. This looks right though.

This will again be a slow burn project , but unlike many others I’ve simply no idea how I’m going to build it , or what colour I want it to be.

It’s a 96 frame so will have the correct decals added along with paint. It’s currently got 98 decals and a nice kingfisher blue colour that’s actually more green than the pic. View attachment 900410

But the question is what colour ,…. And paint by who? Mercian , Argos?

Build kit I’m thinking M739/M950 mix with Raceface cranks. Maybe a Z2 or P2.

I quite like the idea of a candy red or candy green for the frame but shoot me your thoughts and suggestions.

Yes it does. But I'm a pain for having correct year decals etc. Its now moved on as i picked up the 96 stars /bars one
