It’s getting HOT in here ….

I think it would look better with a black stem and seat post and bars and a different saddle (that’s what I did with mine to make the frame pop and components subtle).

But I like the Race Face chainset

Yeah, I can't imagine there's much of a market for a stars and bars fork. But at the same time it'd be a shame for someone to repaint it, it looks well matched.
Yes it would be a shame to paint it. It looks good when fitted but just not my taste and I could do with clawing some cash back.

However the likely answer is to hang them on the wall and keep them

That would be the way I was planning to go.

However the Ti bits are insanely cool , and are very subtle too.

Probably the best bet.
If I were to own that and go rigid, despite how nice that fork is, it would have to be a P2 I'm afraid. :)

.....or, go down to Poundland and buy a load of white star stickers. Put them all over your other Hot and use these rigid forks on that. Voila! 😜

And some nail varnish to add a glimpse of red to the frame?

I tossing up whether to sell the other Hot. I’ve got someone who wants it (who asked months ago ) but not sure whether to let it go , or do another build after this

late to this party but the 96 Hot is 💯 *chef’s kiss* !

I think the Ti Moots parts look the business too. As well as the silver RF cranks.

Thanks … your the first one to like the build as it is.

I’ve taken another look this morning and I like it too. So I’m gonna cable it up today and class it as done. (Nothing is done though)

Unrelated but it’s quite visible the difference between this frame and my other one.

Both apparently are 96.

The stars one has the flat Kona dropouts , and almost looks brazed in places.

Whilst the blue one has goathead , V routing , and is Tig
