biggest complaint i have is i don't like the look of the front end all jacked up so high now a days with the high travel forks. they're almost getting to the point that they look like "choppers". and the downtube bend at the headtube to accommodate these forks.

Agree. Hydroforming is the path to the Devil.... :shock:

Bought my first mountainbike back in 1990. A Kona FireMountain and have been knee deep in the two wheeled universe ever since.

My youngest brother also started on a Fire Mountain! The Project Two fork was pretty cool at the time.
