I suppose my only issue is that running at 1280 x 1024 everything's a bit squashed up to the left whereas previously it was spread across the middle. There's a big gap between the links and the Google search. IE7 BTW

As intended. The alternative is to run the site in a fixed 800px wide box like a lot of other sites.

I think the new banner looks a whole lot better. It's a lot less obtrusive than the last one. As for the navigation aligning to the left, I prefer it that way, but I guess there could be a bit more breathing room between the words. My thoughts would be that the font size could come down a tad, then it would still sit in 800x600. Is there many people using this site with an 800x600 resolution? But the font size seems pretty big to me!

Great work though Jon. If it wasn't for progress there would be no retro!

maybe i will ease the text out a little. The font is perhaps bigger than it needs to be.
Hopefully no one uses 800x600 although people (inc me!) browse via mobile devices.

Which page isn't looking good in links and what browser you on. Did scan thru in IE7 and chrome, what i saw looked ok.

As for justified to the left, Isn't there some indent (or more like position) in % mode, rather than pixel mode ?
Been a while since I played with skinning and modifying forums and then I normally do it in VBB, though i may have a play with the phpBB free xpt forum thing I setup.
