Is it me or has the Retrobike forum banner changed...?!

Excellent feedback. suppose it was too much to ask a retro forum to embrace change

Personally think it's better. Takes up a lot less screen real estate and incorporates the google search.

Anyhow having a few teething issues with the banner on the forum page. should be sorted on 'home'. I have tested with a few browsers on home and it looks ok - if people could report back that'd be great.

Change not quite worked as expected on the forum, got to sort the CSS. Still usable so will leave it up for the time being...

i think the white rectangles behind the buttons complicates it slightly.

but then again, i love 'less is more' when it comes to design!!

Working on Firefox 2 on OSX.

Don't like it though I'm afraid...!

The white boxes that appear when hovering over the buttons are horrible!

The font doesn't work well as all the letters seem to 'bleed' into each other.

Would be better if the buttons were the same size too - rather than just fitting to the text... ie. 2 different size buttons - 1 size for 'Home' 'Forum' 'Shop' and 'Links', 1 size for 'Gallery & Archive' and 'Auction Watch'.

Anyway. Other than that it's fine...!

No changes between 7:43 and 7:45 so can't explain the LHS shift.

Does the homepage look ok to you?

Point conceeded regards font - may rejig at some point for clarity.

Homepage looks ok to me on FF2,FF3,IE6,IE7 and symbian browser.
